COVID19 POLICY
Bayside Workshops follows the guidelines, recommendations and updates issued in NSW Health Guidelines. We are Committed to ensuing our policy and recommendations in practice are followed to ensure the health and wellbeing of everyone that attends or visits our premises. Our protocol and practices to achieve effective risk management and hygiene practices in relation to COVID-19 transmission include and will be updated as recommendations evolve: Bayside Workshops is registered with Service NSW as a Covid Safe Business and has a Covid safe plan available.
All staff and contractors have completed the Australian Government infection control training to ensure awareness of practices to limit the spread of covid-19.
All visitors attendances will be registered either when booking all workshops online or on arrival using our Service NSW QR square located at the entry registering date and time of attendance.
Guests will have their temperature checked and use hand sanitiser on entry, hand sanitiser is available throughout the studio.
We ask everyone including staff and contractors, displaying any symptoms of any illness, the flu or Covid_19, or experiencing a fever do not attend the premises.
We follow social distancing for all adults, all staff and visiting adults must maintain 1.5m distancing from each other. This extends to adults waiting to pick up students outside the studio, please allow space to ensure safe passing for other members of the community to utilise the footpath and don’t congregate at the door.
All children attending workshops and parties are to be dropped off, no adults are to accompany children in the studio, ensuring limiting numbers on the premises and maintaining hygiene with restricted access. Children will be released to parents and carers one at a time to limit congestion and allow social distancing of 1.5m rule to be maintained. We ask for your support and patience during these times.
From Monday May 25th, school students do not need to follow strict adult physical distancing guidelines, however are guided to follow good hygiene practices.
We have limited the Children’s Workshops attendance numbers and dropped our preschool programmes that are sensory based and are usually attended by children that need to be accompanied by a parent or carer, this is probably our biggest sacrifice.
If Government restrictions prevent us from providing a pre booked workshop, your booking will be rescheduled to a later date in the same workshop.
During Adult workshops we have limited numbers and every attempt is made to seat friends together.
The studio premises are frequently cleaned with detergent and then disinfected as recommended in the NSW Health Guidelines. We also limit the handling of shared products during workshops. Equipment used during workshops is also cleaned and disinfected including tables and chairs, door handles, light switches, and bathroom.
We thank you for your continued support and understanding, we are all learning to adjust and work in a world with many changes and limitations, there will disappointments during these times, as changes may need to be made to our plans with workshops rescheduled or cancelled.
